Objectives
There is so much work that can be done to help preserve sight but there are currently three main immediate objectives that need funding. They are:
1. GLASSES BANK
We pride ourselves in doing our bit for the environment, and keeping our costs as low as possible. Bearing that in mind we proudly ask for, accept and reuse old glasses frames (from both adults and children alike).
For us to make good use of them all we ask for is that they are in a wearable condition!!!

2. OUTREACHES
Outreaches have become the mainstay of PSF work as we provide quick and effective solutions to locals in their communities. We pride ourselves on our service and provision of free prescription glasses, reading glasses and eye drops. With our team of dedicated and hard working Doctors we diagnose many conditions and oftentimes refer patients to hospitals for drug treatment.
We are grateful to be able to see a few hundred people per day whilst we do our outreach programs and it has become our best product yet.
3. OPERATIONS AND SURGERIES
On our travels, we have come across many people who need operations and surgeries, and as such we have moved into the business of working with local hospitals and organisations to fund surgeries when needed.
We have built relationships with partner organisations and sponsor monthly operations in The Gambia. We also do one off surgeries for special cases in any of our regions.
We are increasingly coming across many patients in need of surgery and are now working hard to provide more patients in other countries with the operations that they need on a more regular basis.
