We are privileged to have a great set of people who work with us to make sure PSF works and they come to us as part of the following teams.

OPERATIONAL TEAM

We can safely say that our Operational Team are the back hub of the organisation. This team was the first team set up at PSF and the team members have given invaluable support and experience to ensure the smooth running of the organisation operationally. They cover all areas from policy writing, editorial, prayer cover, and fundraising to Outreach and anything else given to them. They each have a little something to add to the organisation. They are committed to working hard and are there to be called on at any time for support.

VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT TEAM

Want to become a volunteer?

As volunteering is a massive part of the PSF Operations, we are really lucky to get a lot done based on the back of our volunteer workforce. Our volunteers get the opportunity to raise funds and work hard on the mission field. Coincidentally, our team is led by the two Temiloluwa’s (aka Aunty Temi and Lady Temi). They are keen-eyed with all things volunteers and ensure that the experience for those who go on mission trips especially has a really enjoyable and memorable time. We are forever grateful that we have a good amount of interest in outreach volunteers and thanks to our Volunteer Management team we are sure that they ensure that our volunteers are up to the task!

PROJECT TEAM

Want to become a volunteer?

We pride ourselves with our projects team as they take on our numerous projects and run with them to ensure that we are up to date with our operations on ground. A lot of things are thrown on this formidable team and they always rise to the challenge. From logistics to supplies and ad-hoc projects, our Projects team work hard to ensure that PSF are fit for purpose. The team members are probably the most versatile team at PSF as the work they do varies so much. Biyi has a habit of throwing different things at the team but they always rise to the challenge.

Our wonderful team comprises of:

WITNESS TEAM

Want to become a volunteer?

PSF was brought about as a result of conversations with God and as such, we place a high value on spreading the gospel of Christ. We are so lucky to have our witness team work hard to ensure that happens. REMI ADESINA and RUTH AKIBA spearhead our witness team ensuring we are able to spread the word to as many people we meet as possible. We are delighted to have them onboard as they design tracts that we give out and make sure as many of our patients either get to know Christ or are spiritually fed.

Buki Braithwaite

Buki has a flair for writing and works hard to ensure that all of our publications and written communication are up to scratch. She also takes time to look into how PSF could be more visible electronically. She has plenty of experience in writing and often shares well written insights and stories to a number of groups.

We are delighted to have her on the team and are really pleased that she wrote her first book on the back of her PSF experience after her trip to Rwanda in February 2022.

OUR COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES

Dr Faith Omotayo

Nigeria

‘Dr Faith’ as we fondly call her hear heads our Professional team of staff in Nigeria. The team work across the country to ensure we have adequate professional staff who are competent and well trained. She also ensures we have quality control and identifies any serious cases we need to pick up on after outreaches in Nigeria.

Mr Abdulazeez Awoniyi

Nigeria

Mr Azeez is our Logistics Manager. He deals with all the logistical and administrative operational issues matters ensuring all supplies are sourced for picked up and adequately accounted for.

Tata Jobe

The Gambia

Tata Jobe is our Gambian Lead. He heads all things Professional and Operational under the PSF Gambia banner and ensures all goes well with our monthly Bansang operations and ad-hoc Banjul Outreaches. He makes sure that the Outreaches and Surgeries go ahead every month. It has been a pleasure to work with Tata as he is hardworking and focused and even more importantly – has a heart for his people!

Abu Bakarr Sheriff

Sierra Leone

Abu Bakarr Sheriff like Tata in The Gambia heads the Sierra Leone arm of PSF. Passionate about his people too he gets the job done monthly by having 2 days outreach followed by our Glaucoma 50 project where we have screened and given the same 50 people eye drops for over 1 year to ensure that their glaucoma is kept at bay. This project is one of our most worthwhile as we are saving 50 patients sight long term. We are pleased that Abu Bakarr is part of our team.

Benedict Ayobi

Our most recent addition to PSF is our Rwanda arm. We are pleased to work with Benedict Ayobi who oversees the professional team in Kigali.
