Our ongoing project since 2018 has continued to support 50 patients with glaucoma in Sierra Leone by providing monthly checks and eyedrops to manage their condition.
We also funded 100 cataract and 100 pterygium surgeries in The Gambia, and we hope to continue this vital work which we started 2017 and has been ongoing
The impact of our trips and monthly projects is immense, as is evidenced by the joy on people’s faces when they put on a pair of glasses for the first time or receive life changing help that is taken for granted by those of us who have access to free basic eyecare. The true significance of your contributions is best understood by the recipients themselves, who are extremely grateful.
