Rwanda

The call to reach out to Rwanda came in November 2021 on a short visit that was arranged after the CEO had a conversation with a friend who felt that PSF would be a blessing to the nation.

This was the beginning of a thought that stirred the hearts of many, then developed into a dream that became a reality.

To start our journey a feasibility study was done in November 2021 and then the largest delegation of 26 volunteers went to Kigali in February 2022 (adults and teenagers alike) on the first intensive outreach program to the nation of Rwanda. After seeing over 1100 patients in 3 days and not seeing everyone we knew we had more to do. We partnered with Solace Ministry which was founded by Jean Gakwandi (a Genocide survivor). Solace is an organization founded on Christian values and provides services to widows and orphans.

Since then we have continued our work in Rwanda by setting up quarterly screening outreaches.
